Fender welt location between the fronts and ch***is? Is there one? Also while I’m at it, rears? Didn’t see it in the restoration book. You guys are faster than me reading. My after market fenders need some mods image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

I just buy the bulk rolls and cut them to fit. It’s easy, after you cut out the hole locations it’s a piece of cake.

It will be better to cut your holes and length with the sheet metal off. It can be done with them attached but a lot harder to do and won’t be as pretty.
When you go to cut for your holes…
Grab some masking tape and tape it in place at 3-4” increments. Its too hard to hold the rubber in place to mark the rubber for your holes and cut to length.
Notice how I bent it into a 90 degree at the edge of the running board. I just cut a “V” in the rubber there to take up the excess material.

Thanks Pete for taking time to post, I really appreciate that. I’m pre ***embling before paint and am trying to stay one step ahead of the game.
