32 ford firewall?

    Are 32 ford sedan and truck firewalls the same?

    Yes. I am using a firewall out of a 5w coupe for my p/u.

    The only difference that I know of is that the truck firewall has a bracket at the edge of the passenger side, which is held on by two bolts; so you've got two more holes to fill.

    Anybody know what that bracket is for?

    Too bad this thread wasn't titled "1932 Ford firewalls" so more people would read it and contribute to it.

    Probably a sidemount bracket.
