Does anyone know where i can get front and rear frame rail extensions for my 32 roadster.
It's a fiberglass body and the frame stops at the radiator in the front.
The frame stops up underneath in the rear.
I want to make it look original again.
I want to put the gas tank where it should go instead of in the trunk.
And put spreader bars front and rear.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You're welcome.

  4. ASC and JW only sell full rails, afaik.
Call around to a few rod shops and see if you can find cut-offs; rears are pretty common. Not too tough to fabricate some front horns. Maybe an ad in the classifieds here may locate something.

  5. Cut off original's do show up from time to time off salvaged frames. Finding a 1932 BB truck frame laying around in farm country - that will get you the fronts.

I recall @Weedburner 40 sent a pair of front frame stubs to Marty, he might know.

I got a pair of about 1/3? (48" or so) front rails from ASC back in 2013. I can't remember if they listed them on their web site at the time or not. I just called and they had them. Lucky me? Perhaps they have some loose front horns or rear ends laying about from twisted stampings or rails damage in shipping? Worth a call. Same for other places that also stamp them, eh?

  9. I bought a pair from Kugel components back in the dark ages. Don't know if they are still in business anymore though.
