Friend of mine has a friend that is selling off their father's extra 32 Ford parts and he sent me a couple pictures and we made a deal and he went and picked them up for me. Holy **** there's a lot of stuff. Got a very nice set of front fenders, 47 Mercury motor that's half ***embled but all the parts are there and an extra crank. Miscellaneous 32 Ford parts in crates and a whole bunch of extra hot rod stuff like steering boxes water pumps Etc. I bought it all to turn a profit and keep a couple parts.
That's what I do. Buy a pile and sell off whatever I don't want to keep. That way the keeper **** is "free" (kinda) and the other good stuff gets back into circulation.
Any idea what a good set of 32 front fenders are going for these days.? I've seen them anywhere from 5 to 1,000 bucks. Guess I'll start a new thread on that
Haven't dug through all the boxes but there is a spare tire holder that's an accessory of some sort they said
I had a 32 Ford Parts score last year. I took what I wanted and planned on bringing the rest to Hershey. Some guy came along and made me an offer I couldn't refuse for the lot. So off it went. I may have made a couple of bucks more selling one piece at a time . But I had my space back.
No doubt there are "other stashes" out there. But when you find one you better buy it right cause selling it is not like it used to be! The buyer pool has dwindled and not because of lack of interest!!
