I've got a pair of fiberglass 32 Ford radiator grille shells at my shop. One is supposed to be stock size and shape, the other is chopped to make it shorter. It looks like maybe they both came from Speedway. My question is are these glass shells usually the same size as stock? I want to make a pattern from the stock one for a really cool grille metal I have. I got these sheets of 1/8" stainless with a kinda cross hatch pattern laser cut out of them, pretty cool stuff. Anyways, if the glass shell is the same as a metal shell it would fit any of the ones guys have out there. I've got enough metal for 5 or 6 grilles, maybe it could help somebody out.
My experience sez all but Brookvilles steel shells are different. You usually have to have a matching insert from the same manufacturer....
