Only if you're using the matching '32 Ford rear crossmember. The '32 spring won't work in a stock '40 crossmember and a '40 spring won't work in a stock '32 crossmember... Either spring will bolt up to the spring perches on a '40 rear axle...
32-34 has curved spring, you will have to angle the 40 spring hangers to match, so you wont put a strain on the schakels other than that, they will work, with 32 crossmember I just put an A spring on a 34 axel and adjusted the offset hangers to match. works good
