Technical 32 Ford trunk drains

    Here is how I solved the trunk drains on my1932 Ford 3w.cpe. Switched from rumble seat to trunk. The ends of the trunk gutters dumped into the trunk. I wanted all of the trunk to be usable and dry. I took some 1" square tubing and welded a 1/2" steel tube to it to fit a hose that drains under the back of the car. See photos.     I added a small piece to allow the water in the channel to run out over the back. No tube to get stopped up

    In converting my rumble to deck lid,---When you add that cross piece with rubber stops, I welded in steel tube ******s on each side, before mounting to body, then used clear neoprene tubing to come out just under body & above the gas tank--Hidden from view, but drains good in the rain.

    Yes I did similar to a gl*** car I had. But this case the trunk drains ran thru the cross piece
