400 or more .See them on that othersite once and awhile for 400 ending the auction ,The repos just dont look right ,,,,,,,,Stick with an original insert ..........I hope you mean Ford
Yeah, definitly Ford whens the last time a 32 Chevy got mentioned, they get treated like red-headed step children.
I gave $500 for a nice/non stainless bars insert last year at the Puyallup WA swap. I think it was to much but the cost of paying a bit much outweighed the other cost of regret in not making the buy. The guy did include another nice outer grill surround with no bars that I sold for $100
You can't beat an origianl. The closest to a gennie is the insert by Dales Manufacturing in OKC. I've used a lot of them in gennie shells. I always get the shiney bars powdered coated, usually satin black.
Picked this one up at the swap meet at Louisville about 10 years ago for $95. I imagine they're a bit more now though. Cleaned up real nice.
On this subject, how can you tell an original? I have a nice one I picked up at a swap meet about 20 years ago but would like to know for sure if it is an original.
The weight alone tells the truth most of the time.Speedy Bills China repop weights about as much as a pack of cigarettes.
Alot of the repops don't have the hole in the center bottom either. Dang you just reminded me I need another one of these. A guy at a local car show a few weeks ago said he paid over a 1000 for a stainless grill. Looks nice but holy cow! I will stick with the origionals
