Need help on my 32 Roadster Windshield. Apparently the holes in the cowl are way wrong so I need to start over. What is the stock angle say relative the bump-trim on the side of the body? What do most hot rod guys rake them down to? Thanks

Bill: Study a few roadsters for their windshield rake. If your not doing a resto a degree or 2 means nothing. Are you going to do a top? I've done quite a few roadsters thru the years and I just eyeball the rake so it looks good. Right or wrong?

Might be a tad difficult to see in this image but, the windshield on my Roadster (the closest one) is raked back a few degrees more that those of my 3 friends. I have always liked it and feel it makes it a bit different. I didn't build the car so I can't say exactly how it was done. Shouldn't be too difficult during the build process. Like @krylon32 says, rake it 'til it looks right.:D Fireworks With 32s on July 4th.jpg 20180816_104629.jpg 1024151020 (1).jpg

That helps a bunch, thanks. Beautiful cars. I have never built a "Hot Rod" before. I see why they are all so different.

Another quick question if I may? Does the bottom of the windshield rest on the little bump out, over it, or does rest in front of the windshield as a stop? Thanks again

....In front of the bump. The bump acts as the stop to keep the windshield from blowing inwards at speed.

Bill, Krylon brings up an excellent point. If you are thinking about a top on your roadster, your windshield stanchion top's need to "socket" into the holes on each side of the front header. The last thing you want to happen is when you close your top, the holes are too far forward or back. Now what?
