Looks great. While I don't dislike model A grilles I think anyone who says a 32 doesn't look better is fooling themselves.

  2. So? What did you need to do to make it all fit? Any hood modifications?

"Better" is subjective. Anyone who thinks they can make absolute statements about subjective likes/dislikes is fooling themselves.

Looks great! A marriage made in heaven (or Fresno, take your pick).

Is Daisy the operator I speak to when ordering decals?

Surprisingly, not a whole lot.........the hardest part of the whole ordeal was getting the headlight bar on. I wrestled with it for four hours......................yes, you read that right, four hours. The hood fits pretty darn good with no modifications, as good as it did with the stock shell (certainly not perfect) but fine for this car. The shell/insert are Vintiques parts and despite everything I read about having to chop the sides of the shell off it went on with no modifications other than re-drilling a couple of mounting holes. Tomorrow I'll be pulling it apart, drilling the holes for the headlight looms and prepping it for paint.

I usually handle customer service, Daisy is too 'busy' holding her bed down.

  8. I'm liking the new look, headlight bar looks great with the lights, I also like the A shells, but the 32 on an A is a timeless trad thing.

Muttley, you asked a few sensible questions and didn't really get any answers to help you.
In spite of that, you went ahead and changed the grille and it now looks great.
Good for you. I like the coupe as it is now.
I hope you and your father-in-law (or whoever it is) enjoys the shit out of that fine looking automobile.
    Cheers.

I put this on Pop's car, the filler was already moved. I trimmed 1/2" off of the shell side where it touched the fender. It fit perfect, no other mods were needed.

Thanks, how's that Fumaze working out?

  17. I didn't notice your juice braked at first. I assume now that your lower mount is the one that goes on the spring perch. I don't think the stock spring perch is long enough to use those. Thanks though:), It's back to the drawing board:rolleyes:.

I'm slow! It's done nothing for my tool cart, where it's been sitting for a few months. :D

I like it. I'll be putting one on my A coupe. And I think you got off easy on the light bar. I have heard over and over that they are a booger to put on.

Yes, just filled the stock filler neck and relocated it to the back of the tank.

your car was perfect the way it was. 32 grills belong on 32s.

  25. Looks real good with the 32.

  26. I like the look. I know its mock-up but in the pictures the passenger side headlight looks low, perspective?
