I have seen a few early Ford east coast channeled survivors near here, and those have the spring ahead.

Some few years ago, it would not be cool to save that feature, but I think it is east coast history, and history of that particular car.

Same is true with the rolled pan and the T-bird vents. Why erase "real", just to make it look like a exact copy of so many recent builds?

If you mess with it too much, it will lose it's identity, IMHO

    nice find

    Damn, Jerry, that rules!

BTW, I'd imagine you're on the same page, but I agree with Frank's statement directly above this post.

Submit and humble yourself in front of the Hot Rod Gods and restore to it's earlier configuration. Find as much info as you can on the car and bring it back to it's former glory!!!!

We all know you can build a bad ass car if given free reign but the challenge would be to take your own desires out of the equation and restore.

Of course I am standing on the outside looking in and it would be hard for me not to just build this car exactly how I would want it since how many times does a 3w '32 pop up???

I was asked to display the car at the Jalopyrama at the end of the month...It will be parked inside next to my old green roadster. Should be a cool show..can't wait

I've been gathering some parts in the mean time for when I start working on it later this winter.....can't start on this until after the Model A I'm workin on is finished. Got some cool old chrome plated F-1 upper shock mounts and a killer old Stewart Warner dash insert with guages from Mike Hamel...looks like another Caddy mill is in store also....

Just picked the motor up this afternoon from my new friend Pat. He was going to put this in one of his cars but went with an Olds.

It's a 1957 392 Hemi fresh from the machine shop. 30 over, hot cam, all the goodies inside, heads cleaned and completely redone, NOS Magneto, old finned valley cover, chrome dimpled valve covers, etc..It's gonna be a great motor...very excited.

Wow, you just keep outdoing yourself! What a dream motor. I just saw an ad here for an adapter for a hemi like yours to a Muncie 4-speed (hint-hint).

Today I swapped some parts for an old interior out of my friend Tim's 32 that he wasn't going to use. I scrubbed 50 years worth of grime and dirt off of it and it really cleaned up nice. Used some simple green and it came right up.

I couldn't help but to lay everything in right away just for a sneak peak. I'll fit things a little nicer when it's time to put it in for good.

Almost matches those T bird seats that came with my coupe.
I'll be getting the matching seat cover soon when Tim takes it off his seat. I'll then be putting it on a bench seat that I have all ready to go.
