theres a man i met one time from oklahoma city who has been collecting****les for 40 years he says and when i ran ito him he literally had about 10,000****les in his truck with him all filed away in boxes, he had just about everything even stuff you have never heard of. he was pretty fair on prices too, he offered a me 32 3w****le for 300 bucks.i just cant for some reason remember the name of his shop. he owns a hot rod shop in ok city and drives a silver and maroon ford pickup with a camper on it if i remeber correct. he also collects grills and has many of them too. if someone knows who im talking about chime in please
also i used to have a 32 tudor sedan****le i sold it about 2 years ago to a guy in san antonio, tx he is here on the hamb i believe his name is ''dueceroger'', last i heard he didnt have any use for the****le anymore, maybe try getting a hold of him
Don't use your real name. Eventually, the Fed is going to see that (despite no harm being done) this isn't any more legal than collecting real estate****les, and they're going to ring the doorbell of all these collectors and tell them to stop. Don't have your name in his file.
Whatever you do ... I would not buy a NY state registration. That same VIN number was on the registration for many years and different registrations ... so if the seller had 5 or 6 years registration on the same 32 ... there can be 4 or 5 other vehicles already registered on that VIN number. I realize that there are 50 states ... but a friend of mine bought a NY state registration a few years ago and when he went to register it in his state ... someone else has already used another years registation for that vehicle and my friend was out of luck. FYI ... A lot of states now will NOT honor a old registration for the reasons above. I was lucky ... Both of my 32's came with a****le and the numbers on the 32 frame matched the numbers on the****le
Actually, any 32****le would not have "3W Coupe" on it as a description of body style but rather "Dlx Coupe" which was the designation on Ford 3W Coupes in the V8 era. Coupe would likely be reduced to Cpe or CPE. Also C Coupe, Club Coupe and B Coupe, Bus Coupe, Coupe Pickup. Ford 2 door sedans are often described as "Tudor" as well as "Coach". Ford 4 door sedans as "Fordor" or "Sedan" or SDN or Sdn. Sedanette for the fastback sedans. MT Sedan or Mst Sedan for "Master" sedans. Rdtsr for roadster, Convt or cabrlt for cabriolet, Convt Cpe for later convertibles, and so forth. 1/4 ton Pickup, 1/2 ton PU, or just Pickup. And yes, the occassional Hoopie, Whoopie, Pass Car, stripdown, rebuilt, Each state would have its set of codes and each courthouse its set of clerks changing and inventing new descriptions every working day.
Big Brother is watching sites like the HAMB and the more we talk about trading****les the closer it comes to getting shut down!
It depends on what shape the car is in that the****le belongs to. If there is no car, the****le is legitimately worthless. Do yourself a favor and keep everything legit. Every state has a way to get a legal****le. Don't ruin it for EVERYONE.
Wow ! this sounds like one hell of a P.I.T.A.! Titles for cars over 25 years old, we don't need no stinking****les! Just a Bill of sale so the state of Maine can get their share of your money! (Well with the money you have left after they already have taken "their" money when you earned it, double taxation?...but that's a whole different discussion)
