Took the floorpan off the Vicky ch***is a little while ago, and will have part of a cowl here within a week. I'm making progress. First step is to get a ch***is setup so I can rebuild the body. I may change my mind once the body is in primer, but right now I'm thinking about running the AMBLER head on a builtup B block. Model A front crossmember, '32 K member and a flattened '35-40 rear crossmember with a '40 spring with a '36 Ford rear. Dropped I beam front axle and uncut '32 wishbone. ASC rails or the Dearborn Rails with the stamped C notch in the rear are my choises. What can you tell me about aftermarket rails?
The dearborn rails which are now Accu-rail, or did thier name change again? are the best aftermarket rail aval. not much work needed on the flanges to get them straight...I like them....They have mostly the proper shape especially in the reveal area.ASC rails are flat through there This frame has those rails. Hope this helps
YES! That helps a lot, that ch***is sits the way I'd like mine to sit. Thanks for the correct spelling and history on the Accu-Rail rails. A local shop said the same thing about them and has a jig set to produce a good square base for this project. What have you got for a rear corssmember?
That's it! I remember that ch***is from an earlier posting, very racy with the lightening holes, reminds me of a T-59 Bugatti.

I was doing a search in the Tech section on for info on flattening the 35-40 rear crossmember, and found the B*** coupe ch***is that has a lot of nice features like HotRodDrummer's. I really like the look of both of them.
