Amazing save, the stars were aligned right for this one to make a comeback. Anxiously awaiting the final unveiling. I think I would have had to go black with it turning out so nice...............can't get the visions of Wayne Henderson's out of my mid from so long ago. The main thing is it will live to fight another day and prove once again................'32's have staying power.

:) Well, it's about time. But perfection does take time, I just got back from the painters. He performed magic on the body and fenders. I am sure glad I found Terry, he is very picky about his work and was a real joy to work with, although he did all of the work, I just watched. I should be able to pick it up in a few days, He will cut and buff it, hardly looks like it needs it. Enjoy the pictures.

NICE! I like the front fender painting setup. What are the plans for wheels & tires?

Well it's home now, the pace of work will pick up and so will the progress pictures. The color really pops in the sun. Still waiting on a few parts to get painted and have to make the hood sides and get them louverd before I can get the last parts painted. That will be top priorty.

Making some more progress, have smooth hood sides made, they are off to the painter, have rhino lined the under side of the fenders and have them bolted on for the last time, I hope. Still have to tweak the running boards to get the to fit like I want. Gl*** patterns made, gages sent off for repair. Bought leather for interior, a light tan, looks good with the papaya. Cleaned all of the burnt rubber off the wheels, think I might run them.

:DWell it's been too long, finally got most of the small parts back from the painter. I will pick up the hood tomorrow. I know there is a lot of little stuff left to do, wiring,gl***,paint the dash and moldings,re-install the gages, strip the burnt upholstery off the door panels and quarters, seems like it will never end. Hope to get it to the upholsterer some time in July.

As others have said, the work you have done is nothing short of amazing, but please pull that insert out and paint the air conditioner condenser black.

It stands out like a sore thumb. HRP

Amazing transformation from what we saw a few months ago. I'm not a big fan of yellow but it has given the car a whole new personality to go along with it's resurrection rather than going back with the same color.

:D OK. is this better? Actually I kind of like the idea of a window unit, or maybe a swamp cooler on the roof.

    Yellow?

Nice job, I am envious/jealous of the speed at which your projects progress. Makes mine look like they're right on the event horizon of a black hole, and going backwards in time......
