I have a '34 five window, but I would much like to own a '32 some day. They are just as cool to me when done right, all models.
Too close to call! My mind changes with how each car is put together. I would really love to have a full fendered 33/4 roadster though.
Always been partial to the 33/34. Wouldn't kick a 32 outta bed though. Love the Rolling Bones style 32 three window. Some of my favorites. Congrats to the fella with the light green coupe ... he's famous now! Got a magazine car and well deserved. I know he is on here, can't remember his handle?
I know I'm gonna get a blast for this but I think the worst thing you can do to a 33/34 is put a 32 grille in it. I like 34's the best.
Consider yourself blasted. I probably wouldn't have done it myself but I patterned my coupe after one my dad built in '53 which looked great. If you remove enough height out of the grill and tilt it back a few degrees it makes a big difference and flows better with the '34 hood/cowl angle. Headlight placement also comes into play as well for pulling it off. It grows on you after a bit. After all how simple is it to put a '34 grill on a '34 car?
well that's a hard choice , I have both a 32 and 34 3 window and love them both , but ill lean more on the deuce, but the other half of the week I can lean on the 34 , its a lot of fun , there both great
Game over!!!Looks like model 40....all the way to the bank..... Never the less 32 fords are great cars no doubt about it,,,just like hotrodprimer said I will take one of each!!!
I have had all three but for me the 1933 is the prettiest of the bunch with it's dished grille curved hood louvers and absence of sail panel on doors of the closed version, which made the 1933 appear a little airier? The 1934 was progressively clunkier and obscure rumor has it that Henry enlisted the aid of Italians in styling the 1933 and that when the 1934 'evolved' that it became heavier looking under American influence. Maybe Mr. Lancaster can shed some light here?
"Shield" grilles were happening in Italy at the time, but generally not before 1934. Here's a Fiat from that era: The top one is a '34 and the bottom one a '33. Note the changes to the front apron detail.
'33-'34 cars are going away better looking than '32's...my fave is a '36 however...******* in New Mexico.
Ive got a 34 ,but when I rode in Marshalls rusty *** 32 I felt like I was riding in a real hot rod....
both are cool. My favorite is the 32 5w, My problem is do I do the favorite or the one that is closer to being done?
Even though my handle is DA34GUY (got hung with that when I owned 7 33-34's years ago) I prefer 32's now. The reason the poll is showin 33-34 as fav, is all the 32 guys are out drivin their's and don't have time to vote on a poll. I'm done, gonna jump in my 32 and go 4 a putt.
Once upon a time I owned a bright orange full fendered chopped '34 three window that I thought was the slickest thing goin'. It went down the road. I now have a '32 sedan in chopped hiboy form, so I vote for...what was the question?
'34's for me please. I've owned a 3 window and currently ( like forever) have a roadster. 32's have become way too common.
