Technical 327 SBC engine ID

I have a 327 SBC, It has single 4 barrel. double hump heads, flex plate. Casting number is 3903852. I can't find any info on it. Can anyone help identify this engine, Thanks appreciate the help

 

Its a 283. If you have the numbers off the pad in front of the passenger head I can tell you more

 

Are you sure that that isn't 3903352 ? That would be a 67 327.

I'm not finding any 283 listed with a 7 digit casting number starting with 29 either so that BS is out. there are a couple that start with 38.

You still need the suffix number off the pad in front of the right (US passenger side) head to tell what it allegedly came in.

 

Your right it is casting # 3903352 (Must be dim light, too much rust dust, foggy glasses or old age) Head casting is #8917291 D57 with SN T0421HC or it may be T042 IHC Thanks I appreciate the help

 

You got yourself a 275hp 327 from a fullsize car, originally backed by a Power Glide. Built in Tonawanda on April 21, 1967.

Keep in mind that engine was originally built 56 years ago , there could be many different combinations of internals stuffed in that block !
