Technical 327 SBC stamped engine number???

If you just need size a printed out listing of SBC block casting numbers should suffice I would think.

The issue we often have here is with law enforcement who are lead to believe that the block or engine may be stolen if the numbers are missing.

and cross referencing it to this list Small Block Chevy Engine Block casting and code identification (nastyz28.com) should be an honest reference as to what size block was when it left the factory and give a two or three year time span.
Even if you had a 67 4 bolt 4 inch bore block that "could be" a 302 Z 28 block that is smaller and not larger. Way more bubba points at the weekend cruise though.
