One very important consideration that has not been addressed is the daily, nuts and bolts operation of our justice system. Most prosecutors have staggering workloads and are pushed to close as cases as quickly as possible. To the uninitiated, these parts are just scrap, and relatively worthless. Therefore the crime is not all that serious, because the aggregate amount of items stolen is, in their eyes, relatively small. The advice to provide documentation from Hemmings is excellent. If you have not done so already, assemble a dossier with a complete inventory of everything taken and a fair market price with each item, along with a copy of an ad (Hemmings, HAMB classified) showing a similar item. You can also provide some pix from HAMB threads showing a 33/34 build starting with junk parts. Then a photo of a completed 33/34 with price. This will open the eyes of the prosecutors and substantiate your claim that the items stolen do, in fact, represent a very hefty value in the hot rod marketplace. Maybe even a Barrett-Jackson SOLD "show car" with price. It's normal for a victim of theft to seek vengeance because they have been violated, but a pictorial, well organized and SUBSTANTIATED/DOCUMENTED presentation of the loss will go very far to get justice on your side. Like Sergeant Joe Friday said so well, "The facts, Mam, just the facts." Save the drama fo yo mama. And hang 'em (the thieving bastards) high. Good luck

Happy to hear you got most of your parts back George.
Hope the court case goes through without a hitch, and the little prick gets what he deserves ( at least a stretch in the klink to reflect on his lifestyle and the consequences of being a dirtbag).

(Summer's here; time to RACE!! I went to the Nostalgia Drags at New England Dragway on Sunday and it was PISSAH!)
