Life should be so simple...I found a '28-36 parts book first, so used that. I now realize a later book would have shown even more fun variations!
Here's the '28-37 scoop, hastily scribbled. I thin A one is a union of 2 earlier numbers, and note that rods were alread being discontinued and replaced by other ones, presumably with a hacksaw in some cases.

    Model A A-8133-AR 26" (the later one, discontinued by '36, was 25 5/8")
    B B-8133 30 3/8
    18 18-8133 29 3/4
    40 40-8133 31 '33-4 passenger
46, BB 46-8133 24 5/8 '33-4 pickup and big truck make from Model A part above
    48 48-8133 AR and BR 32 3/4, 32 13/32 (!) 1935 pass, early and later
    68 68-8133 AR and B 2 versions '36 passenger, lengths not given

    '35-6 trucks, 29 1/8, cut from 1936 pass

On mine I found two issues.
I didn't run a hood and found the radiator/grille angle looks better with longer than stock rods. The stock rods tilt the radiator to a different angle than the cowl.
I suppose it really depends if you are running a stock or aftermarket hood.
In order to match the hood edges correctly the grill/radiator needs shifted back quite a bit. If your still in question..pm me and I will measure my length since I just fit it with a aftermarket hood.

Let me know if the catalog is right...24 5/8 seems really short. I never noticed before that B and 18 were slightly different, even.

I do know that the '33-4's are about the hardest to fit with an engine because the radiator comes back so close to upper front of engine.

  6. i think all the repo radiator rods come long and you cut them to fit
