Hi folks . I have a 4 banger that has the pistons sitting about a 1/16 above the deck.
Is this normal ? It seems to run ok . It has adjustable lifters which rattle a bit other than that ,no knocks . Any thoughts? 0D1E49AD-D93D-4160-ACCA-4F65B28A284C.jpeg

  2. There was a deep recess on the stock head. Be careful with the high compression heads as they may lack this recess. If a stock head has been milled too much it can be a problem. You might want to try your post on fordbarn.com.
