can anyone tell me if there is a gasket that goes in the track (frame) on a 33 Ford Pickup. I believe 32, 33 and 34 closed cabs are all the same but I can't seem to find a gasket on line. only one I see is the one on the outside of the frame.
I am hoping there is one that surrounds the window and fits in the track on the windshield frame.

I have to replace mine and it was just put in with sealant. what a mess to clean out.

    THANK YOU for the ***istance

Yes, there are seals that go in the "tracks" in the window frame. There is also a seal that goes on top in between the hinge and header. Check out suppliers like MAC's and Drake. Most of their catalogs show how they fit.

  4. Sounds like you are talking about the windshield setting tape.

If you have access to a "real" gl*** guy, it might be worth your while to see him. He can tell if the gl*** is sized correctly for the frame (might not be if it was put in with sealer previously) and he will have the right size setting tape for your application.

That crack is not unusual. The frame twisted when you tried to close. You just have to be careful closing the swing out windshields.
