I was gonna run a flathead but could not p*** up a complete redram hemi with dual quads and 4 spd all ready to go, will a stock 33 steering box fit ? or is the hemi just too wide?

You won't have to worry about it if you crate it up and send it to me. [IMG] I'll pay shipping. Seriously , I'd do whatever it takes to get that bad boy in there. I'm sure there is someone here that can give you a hand.

I have 1/8" clearance between my 392 starter and the steering box of my 47 Merc. I have to drop the steering box to take the starter off. Its worth it.

I seriosly doubt anybody has done exactly what you are planning. If you want to badly enough, you can make anything fit. I've got tons of room on my 31 pontiac but I put the engine in the frame where I wanted it first and kind of built around it.

My ch***ie is a 32 with a stock column and the motor is a redram 241ci, it's close, REAL close.. The motor could be dropped down a bit too.. I would say yes, but not with stock exaust manifolds, because it dumps into the box.. So you gonna have to use headers..
    Thanks John
