I think the panel would look good upside down in a different dash, but with as much curve I added to the top rail I don't think it would fit or look good. I will hold it up and check it out though. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thank you both very much! I hope to get some garage time Sunday and Monday.... Update (hopefully) soon!!

Couple more pics to add, installed a set of the bearjaw latches I bought from 38Chevy354 here on the HAMB. These are very good quality, outstanding price, and USA made!! Hit him up if you're in need of latches.

Would have gotten more done, but I had a garage full of friends and there was more bullshitting than working..! All in all, it was a great day. Tomorrow I'll be alone in the garage so I can hit it hard and focus. Anyway, here are a few pics. Screws will be replaced with slotted heads to match the dovetail, these were just ones I had laying around.

Sidewalk chalk makes for good temporary door art....

Well, got the doors wrapped up. The A pillar was a bunch easier than I anticipated. Just think before you cut..... (Which is hard if you're me!) I have a few pics of the process if anyone is interested. Perhaps I'll turn it into a tech post. Here's the work in progress for now.... I gotta get my butt to work :D

When I first met Skip and saw this car I fell in love. I knew one day I would have to have it... (or one like it!) The above statement is correct!!

Skip is spot on with his visions and I really appreciate what you said about mine. I don't ever want Skip to think I ruined his vision, just completed the roughed out version! I wish I could build faster, as I type while waiting on my back pills to kick in before I hit the garage.. Also these things take time when life is happening all around you. Thank you very much for your compliments!

Astro, I remember you saying that the deck area had been shortened? or lowered? or both? I think you mentioned it on another post what were you talking about?

Sorry guys, she's sold. I needed to put some folding $ away at the time and had to pass her on. It went to HAMBer BigO, and although he hasn't posted anything to the board about it there are a few photos on his profile. I hope he eventually starts a thread, as this is one car I never bought to let go.
