  2. Love the shape of most cars of the thirties, including this one. I have a 35 slantback coach, it is down the list, keep up the good work.

Been a long time coming, but it’s finally inside. Got the new toy storage shed finished. And now have room in my shop to start messing with this one. Will be picking yall’s brains on some things soon, I’m sure. Looking forward to finally doing something to this thing. Gonna start by figuring out how to get the radiator support and front fender braces mounted, so I can move towards getting the body panels mocked up.

Guess it’s been almost 2 years since I’ve updated anything on my progress. And there’s nothing to update…. I haven’t done squat with it, other than buy a pd grill and shell, and a couple of small parts. I’ve located another frame, and some splash panels, just need to make the long drive to get em. I sold my cuda last month, so once again I’m hoping to get back to work on this one……

Made a 1250 mile round trip and brought some more junk home. Another PC frame that isn’t too great. Some small stuff. Some stuff I won’t use. Some cut up PD fenders. And an NOS PC driver’s side fender. I’ve got renewed interest in getting some work done on my car again.

Think I’ve finally figured out how to make my fender supports work, even though they’re the wrong ones. I’m gonna use the new frame to mock everything up for now. And I’m planning to cut off the M2 on my other frame, and redo it.

I’m looking for a set of splash aprons if anyone knows of a set. And a passenger side headlight stand. I’m likely gonna put the NOS fender up for sale, since I can’t use it, as I’m running PCXX fenders/hood/grill. Of course, I’ll be looking for a rediculous asking price, lol. 82D330F7-0113-4622-A115-049FCCF4474A.jpeg 56512D59-DC41-4491-AF04-FECBB83B3E4D.jpeg 72A68E57-8CC7-477C-8730-13CDA82F23E3.jpeg

Pick at least one day a week to spend a cpl hours on it. I started doing that and before i knew it i was working in the shop 3-4 nights per week. I lose a little sleep but the progress is fast! I even started a youtube channel which even further forced me to get my ass out there and get to work. Soon as my roadstera done my 33 dodge 5 window gets wheeled in. Glad you didnt sell!

  11. I didn’t buy it. The owner did. I’m sure it wasn’t close to $1400

Started knocking a little rust off today. Guess I’m gonna need to start formulating a plan soon. Gonna try and pick up some steel in the next day or so, to make the underbody supports. Then gonna start getting this chassis figured out. 704083FA-48F0-44B6-BDDD-A2B39DB53B41.jpeg 9D4DFC8A-E8AC-4CCB-84F8-BD9B42049D7A.jpeg

Had to see it in one color. Figured now was the time to experiment before I got serious with body work. $7 experiment……. I’ll take inspiration just about anywhere I find it. A couple of spray cans helped my vision today. C9CE3F8D-8A8B-4137-9600-5024319AB892.jpeg 5F484207-4FF8-4A04-B854-4F1E63A46D1E.jpeg 5B5CB5B5-DC1E-4314-8234-0782F333E8A3.jpeg

Yeah, it looks like crap up close in person, lol. And it highlights just how much bodywork it needs. But it’s giving me ideas and making me think about direction. I’m gonna play around some more this weekend with a particular idea. Still trying to locate a few parts too.

Started trying to get the grill insert cleaned up a bit. Hoping I can polish it up some later after attempting some repairs…..… 90F3CE2B-40AA-42CC-A369-24D69E0DC5FA.jpeg 5A244B0C-4261-4E19-AF5E-CB7688E264CC.jpeg

That grille looks pretty decent. Mine had a couple bends I fixed and had to make a couple of the bars below the crank hole. Had it powder coated and it’s good for me DCABD990-189D-4B14-8456-31F2FC268A2C.jpeg

Looking good!.. While it’s true that finding parts for these early Mopars can be challenging, I think people are finally beginning to see what good looking cars they really are…

that looks good. Mine is pretty rough at the bottom. Most of the bars have rusted and broke loose. I’m gonna try and clean em up and see if I can weld em back. Never tried anything like that, so maybe it’ll work, lol.
