I think I am going to buy a 33 Willys kit car, it's completed and running. A couple of questions:
    1. It's a Willys Works body & frame, is that a good thing??

    2. The front end is a Mustang II suspension with coil over shocks. Is it going to be a nightmare to put a Speedway straight front axle on the car??

I may have more questions. Help me out here.

    1. It's a good thing that the frame & body are of same manufacture.
    2. Your better off cutting frame at firewall, or ahead of first body mount, and starting over from there forward.

Thanks for the input, but that gave me a headache.

Take two pills of choice and start cutting! I knew if you had to ask the question it maybe over your head! No time like the present to start learning something new like fabrication...................

Willys Works bodies were a**** the first street rod Willys bodies made, and Vinny did a great job with his molds. The bodies were accurate, and Vinny's stuff fit steel cars. He had nice steel bodies from which to pull his molds.
You should have no trouble building a nice car. I would cross brace the front part of the frame, and remove the IFS set up and put the speedway set up in. Make sure you mark the wheels in the center of your fenders before you cut the IFS out, and get the the new set up centered before you finish the spring perch welds.

Thanks GWIllys, your guidance is good. I know it is possible, I just have to talk to some local boys and see what they think. I may post this car on the Hamb just to see what people think of it. It's a long shot for me.
