Technical 331 Cadillac 1950

    Came across this picture of a 331 Cadillac motor with 5 carbs. Briggs Cunningham used it in the 1950 24 hrs of Le Mans.

  3. Cool, what’s the fuel deal, pump feeds centre jug, other 4 off the log,maybe from an electric?

    Rare bird there! I've been around quite a while and have never heard of those induction systems. Would sure like to know more about the principals of operation.

    That Ford set up looks like a small based teapot four barrel surrounded by two barrels. Seems like a lot of intake for around 300 cubic inches, I wonder how it worked.
