Hi all, just kinda curious about where I can find the rev limit if a stock 331 Hemi?
I have a stock 51 New Yorker with the engine and original transmission just trying to figure out how far these engines wind out.

    Thank you

About when the lifters pump up. How good are your valve springs?

I would guess for a stock 1951 331, 4500 would be the red line. In my 1955 331's set up to road race, revs in the 7500 RPM range usually had a predictable result, that is, something sticking out thru the pan.
