331 torus gasket question

ok i got a new torus gasket for my caddy 331, and hydro. (a while ago)and im wondering when i go to put it in, does it need to have any sealant on it? or just put it in dry? thanks

 

I pulled one apart 6 months ago. It had sealer there plus on the end of the crankshaft flange & flywheel bolts. I'm going to use Permatex avaition sealer; does not get brittle. I'm not up on these, though!
