OK guys need help on this one, bought thos car from a family who's dad died. I can open the hood from inside and it flips over to the pass side. But I need to get the other side open or hood off. What is the secret? I found no linkage, no latch on that side? I don't want to damage any paint, any suggestion?? Does it just flip way over and lift off? I've tried that and didn't work. Thanks for any help here on this 33 Vicky.
There are some hood hinge kits that open from either side, I'll bet that's old enough that the only way to remove the hood is to unbolt from the hinge and then see how the side panel was attached.
