Projects 338ci Y-Block Wrapped Up in '30 Model A Tudor

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by mctim64, Feb 2, 2012.

  1. Looks like this will be the place that paints the Tudor. Marty did Mark Skipper's Victoria so I'm in good company. :D

    Very cool brother!

  3. Here's a few mor pix of the engine. Got all the goodies bolted on (not the coated Rams) and the fuel lines run. Just waiting for the frame to come back from the painter and I will start ***embly. :)

  12. The body is out of my garage and down the road to Marty's. Hope to have updates on the paint over the next month. We're getting close!

  16. The Herald is my wifes. I am a lucky guy to have her, she has no problem with me playing with cars. ;)

No need to "Keep up" just keep at it.

  17. I got my exhaust manifolds back. I think they will look real nice when it's all together. :)

  19. Hey, nice progress there. I'm gunna invite myself around in exactly 54 weeks time and we will go for a ride in this hot rod! Great stuff! -H.R.D-

  20. No problem Geoff! You're welcome any time.

  21. I am going for a "Restored" look so I found the stock 1930 Ford colors "Kewanee green" and Elkpoint green".
I want it to look as if I took a restored stock body, chopped it and set it on a Hot Rod ch***is. No fenders. ;)

  22. Yes, I like original colours and i like the concept. Sort of like Derek's pickup. I'm excited. My son Matt and I are going down the same path with our Y-block powered improved A coupe. We're now lookin for a quickchange for it. -H.R.D-

  23. Just brought the frame and a bunch of painted pieces home. Things are coming together. ;)
