Are those little front wheels streetable or is thing a 1/4 mile only ride? ...love it either way, I was just curious.
i've got a picture of that one pasted to the garage wall, i hate headlight and this is part of the reason why. every car i've built for the street looks all racey and fast until the lights go on. on a side note here's a couple ****y pictures of the bosses 33, it has the fenders and magnesium 5 spokes with the hurst slick, no blower but the hemi's a good one. it's alot farther along than in these pictures, i think he prolonged finnishing it until i sold my 34 so he wouldn't have to race me should be on the street/strip in about a month, oh yeah that same hemi's been in there since the early 60's, new frame as the old one was tweaked and had so much extra **** welded on and torched off from it's racing days, but the body's all the same including the paint. should be a fun car i just hope i get the chance to make a few p***es in it.
Some of the old stuff here ... WOW ( !! ) ... you can post re-runs until the end of time. ^^Amazing coupe !
1959 Riverside Raceway Hello, As publicity goes, Jim Miles has his share with a Fiat Altered that blew up at the drags. But, for my brother and me, it was the sight of his 1934 Ford three window coupe that gave us the shivers on that cold December morning at Riverside Raceway. Despite being late December, the chill wore off fast and most everyone was in T Shirts and Levis throughout the day in Riverside, CA. When we were walking around the Riverside Raceway pits, color was obvious, but this coupe stood out from across the pits. Our friends from Bixby Knolls had their Red Fiat Altered in the nearby area and the two red/orange coupes were getting ready for the day’s action. Riverside Raceway Pits Jnaki 3 months later, we drove up to Bakersfield for the 2nd Annual Bakersfield Smokers March Meet in 1960. There in the pits was the same 1934 RED Ford Coupe running in the Altered Cl***. It was loud and fast both times. JIM MILES 1959 RIVERSIDE RACEWAY TRAILER AND ACTION IN 1960 BAKERSFIELD AGAINST THE HART AUTO COUPE The 118 A/F designation is for Riverside Raceway. The race between the red/orange 34 coupe and Hart's Auto Altered was very exciting. That is a good example of a little So Cal drag racing in 1959 and 1960. It was and has always been an outstanding build of that red 1934 Ford 3 window coupe. Impressive to say the least...
