It’s been awhile but I am re***embling the body components on my 34 Chevy Master 2 door.
I have front fenders on, and started to install the rear panel over the gas tank. I did have some straightening to do on the rear fenders but it should not effected the rear panel in question.
My question is; there seems to be a fairly large gap, equal on both sides between the rear lower part of the fender and the real panel. About 3/8’s maybe a bit larger on both sides.
Normally welting would go in an area like that but that gap is to wide.
Does anyone have a picture of that area they could share or tell me what’s missing or I left out to cause that gab?...

thanks in advance for the help

You may also want to post a pic of your issues, someone might be able to spot something

That’s a good idea. Unfortunately I took it all a part to recheck positioning. That’s when I found the gap. I was hoping someone would have a picture of what a right install looks like and what type of welting if any they used on the back panel.
