Has anyone ever used a S10 front end as a subframe for a 34 dodge/plymouth? Thanks

Subframes whether it’s S10, Nova, Camaro are all wrong for an early 30’s car.

This needs to move to the Off topic section.

Eons ago I put a Volare subframe under a 35 Dodge sedan. Even full fender, it was too wide, I ended up widening the nose 4". The Nova and the Camaro would have the same problem.
The S10 may have a narrower track width, but the steering box will be very visible and the shape of the frame is all wrong.

That's a really terrible idea. On so many levels.

The independent front suspension on a '33-'34 Dodge/Plymouth is not too bad of a system. Maybe add modern shocks. This is ***uming full fendered. I cut the front suspension off my '34 DB frame because I was building it fenderless. Spliced on and boxed '37 DB pickup front frame rails and a cross spring with a Model A type crossmember.

The HAMB does not allow front clip swaps swaps except in the "Off Topic" section.

If you or anyone else are cutting off the front of a 34, I could really use all the steering components. It would be nice to be able to actually steer my project around
