Besides the trans tunnel and battery cover, what is the piece called that's missing and who make a replacement? I read somewhere that this piece was originally made of wood... This is my first attempt at posting a pic I hope it worked.

 

The piece you are looking for is called a toe board and yes it was made of plywood.
