I have a set of mint unchopped 34 ford 3 window garnish moulds. But i have a chopped 34 3w. My question is should i chop them or keep them the way they are ?
Sell the originals to someone who needs a set that isn't chopped. Then take that money, buy reproductions and chop those for your project. You'll be money ahead.
I bought a set from Iversen Originals.....in pieces.....for way less than half what new set would cost. So you could actually make money and it would be easier to chop.
keep these as they are and find some that have been cut , there were a set on here about 6 mounths i thought 3.5 chop , good luck what do you want for yours
Find a pair of 34 tudor door moldings and a pair of 34 4dr quarter window moldings and make your own.
If you keep them, you cant use them. You need them, so do what you gotta do. I dont think you want to put some other pieces of hacked up **** on your car.
I sent you a Pm. I have these nice chopped originals. Pm me your window opening size and lets see if these will work for you. There is no pitting, these are nice. A very even chop fom back in the day.
Theres a guy making repro ones now for $300 for a complete set 3W and 5W.I bought a set for my car since they need to be chopped anyway. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/group.php?do=discuss&group=&discussionid=16862
