sounds like ya got a 33 door and a 34 door..the 34 window regulator sent the gl*** back an inch or so [to ash your cigar] before the gl*** came down....33 had a regulator that send the gl*** straight down.
Check the door's B-pillar. 34's had a little 'flap' to receive that door gl*** coming back before dropping down while 33s had a skinny B-pillar like a 32.

I think early 34 doors had the door latch at the front like a 33 and they moved them to the center mid 34? Might be wrong... Im sure someone will correct me though :) or ya it could be a 33 door on one side and 34 on the other, but thats pretty easy to tell.

All 33 Ford P***enger Cars had the inside door handle at the front edge of the door...just like 32 3W Coupes.
The 33s have the chromed stirrup style door pull mounted in the center of the door under the garnish moulding because of the forward positioned door handle.

Early 34 Ford P***enger Cars have the forward positioned door handles also, but do have the jack-back window feature common to the later ones.
The 33 window gl*** rises up and goes down BUT the 34 window gl*** rises up and with another pull jacks back to open a ventilator slot, a feature Ford conrinued to use until vent windows appeared in 1940.
