how it going,i want to put a bolt in steel insert in my chopped 34 5w,than i can cover in fabric.does anyone know of a good roof to use?and remember i live in new zealand,so its limited.thanks steve
Those steel inserts are on Ebay everyday, check there. You would need to spot some bolts to the bottom side, or use some other method to attatch it.
If you can find a parts roof from a 39-40 sedan. Use the front part, starting about a foot back from the windshield opening. I just put one in my 5w and it is a perfect fit. You may be able to use the later 41-48. You could make a card board template of the front and side of the 34 opening and start laying them on later models roofs. Good luck
