Projects 34 Ford build

Here's the body I bought. I have an original 34 frame also. Time to start building it.

I'm the third owner. It's been hanging in the rafters of a warehouse since 1973. I'm going to build a period correct 50's Bonneville car.

I absolutely love this body style. Looking forward to seeing what you end up doing with this project. What doors are those? They don't look like original doors lol

 

All Henry Ford steel. No patch panels on the body.

 

Nice 3 window I just picked one up a few weeks ago that was an old dirt track car it's beat up but it's s 3 window.

 

Awesome dude! Mine was the same way. All original steel.

 

A " period correct" bonneville car would be a roach , those cars were gutted racecars little more than a frame A belly pan and some body pannels

 

Wow, an unchopped 3 window. Rare to find one. Is it as solid as she looks?

 

It won't be rare anymore if he does make it into a Bonneville car.

No I'm not gutting like a race car. Just that look.

 

I'm glad youre not gutting it. I've always wanted to build a lakes car out of a 34 like what Verne Hammond did. Just not as extreme of a chop

 

It lived as a survivor for this long,I hope it don't get hacked up.

 

OK. Guys I'm not hacking anything out of anything. No chopping, No Channeling, No Filling in top. Nothing will change on this body. Believe me I paid plenty for this thing why would I start hacking stuff up? I like the look of a car without finders. I like 50's builds. No it will not be a 90's street rod looking car. No it will not be a race car. Thank you all for looking and all the nice comments.
