My '39 is done, so I FINALLY get to start on the '34. Here is the pile of stuff that I got from a cool HAMBer in Tennessee.

Unfortunately, it had to live outside for a year and a half whilst finishing the '39.

Here is the misc pile of frame stuff.

I made some jigs and used the blueprint from Wescott to cut and weld all the good pieces together.

I used the frame and the sweet cowl to locate all the rest of teh sheetmetal.

Here she is today, everything squared, fittted and tacked into place.

The rear section of teh body is kind of a piece of shit, but the doors and cowl are quite possibly the most beautifull pieces of sheetmetal I have ever drug home.

Plus, it came with new panels and subrails from a dude named Donnie Smart. I always make my own panels, but the Donnie Smart stuff makes me want to throw rocks at my shit. His stuff is nothing short of amazing.

    See you next time, -Abone.

I dont think there are enough expletives to do your progress and work justice. I know there are others out there that have your drive and talent, but mostly there are guys like me who "try" to do what you do, but end up just admiring your work even more. But then again, you give us all inspiration. I was too late on the 39, but following this one. Thanks for sharing your expertise and progress.

Your garage in some sort of warp drive vortex kinda' thingy? Seems like you get stuff done awfully quick. I wish mine was. My shop has the optional "time slow down drive", where everything no matter how complete or well intentioned goes at half speed! Good looking work, and I will keep watching this one.

I like your garage! There's not one fancy tool in there and you knock out some amazing cars.

    Can't wait for more.

    Hello, Abone.

Yeah, those South Dakota (driver's door & cowl) & California (passenger side door) panels are nice. But, Donnie Smart's panels will help make the rough panels much easier to live with. I, along with a bunch of other folks, have been waiting to see you get started on this project. We all know that it will be another "job well done". Best regards, sir.

  26. Don't be surprised when I drop off my model A, Pontiac 455, and some black paint.....

  27. HAHAHA

That was what I was thinking. Abone you are like the modern day Henry Ford. " your car can be done along as it black and pontiac blown"

Keep the progress on this thread so we can all have it one post. Can't wait for more updates.
