    well, looks like im probably not going to make it in the 34, me and a friend are working on nerf bars for the rear, and we are going to nickel plate them, they will hold four 53 Buick tail lights.....taking longer than I thought. It does run and drive good though, just no tail lights yet.

    Got 13 miles on the clock, its running and driving perfect......its a real basic pickup....Ill probably add some hub caps or something, and the hood will be back on, thats about it. You can really tell a difference when you have a nice chassis under a hot rod, drives so smooth. Ive been in, driven, and even owned some rickety early fords and hot rods...this is nothing like that, its very solid going down the road. not bad for a 7 month build

    Still working on them:D....actually we havent worked on them in 3 weeks, but I have some temp. tail lights rigged for now

    Yeah I'd imagin it'd be more fun to drive it then to work on it. Totally understandable.

    yep, I havent worked on it since I started driving it other than fiddle with the timing alittle....been pounding out the miles and going through tanks of gas.

    Update....she's all black with wide whites....all bugs worked out....cruising speed 80 mph

    I was out in the intersection trying to keep my daughter from jumping out of her skin. My 2 year old son was liking it though! That was pretty cool to see. Its been a while since I've been near a big NHRA motor being fired I thought the geezers were gonna shit a brick and the windows really did look like they were about to blow right out of the buildings!

    Yeah Ive been to an NHRA Top Fuel event before, but never seen one in between two buildings on a street corner....that was nuts
