Well..., the little air scoops to not fit the carbs and hood…………, if you go the main stream way!
I do not like to go it in every situation…
Before I take an alternativ like a bug dome air cleaner like this,

    - I like more to make a complete change in my mind and find a way to put the air scoops in the car, not straight, but now it fix and look not so bad.
I think it will work in technical way.
The carbs are now mostly rain and big dust protected.
Here you see my special solution:

Time to give a little upgrade about my project.
In the meantime the Ford is ready for the first 1/8 mile race.
Here are some impressions from the trip to the race and the camp ground.

It was the first time to race with the Ford and I was running 2 training races and became thermic issues. So I would not kill the engine, that`s why I go not for more races.
Otherwise this Girl runs 10.339s and speed 66.7 miles!!
That`s not the fastes Caddy Flathead in the world, but for mild custom engine not bad I think…

At this time I eliminate the thermic issues and bring new bearings in the rear axle differential.
Next race is begin of September and I hope to go under 10s with it! ;)

Cool ride and I dig the ramp truck VW. I can see a vintage COE cab going on that thing.

To get the thermic trouble under control, I take copper lines from the Cyclone Heads under the cab to the pickup bed. On front from bed I screw a used additional radiator from a VW Touareg. You can get this for $30-$100 here in junk yard.
I`am not sure if it will work with this radiator, but tell you this after a test run…
