Correct. But these pictures give you a general idea of what yours will look like with a dropped bar.

thats why I liked the way this one was done, just remove the center sections at the light mount and turn it till it clears the grille... tig weld it , metal finish to where you can't see it's been cut... should work out great...

You supposedly ran your own hot rod fabrication business and don’t know who Pete Eastwood is?

I know, I know, the right way to do this is to spend 3 or 4 hrs rounding up the stuff to make a jig ...then spend another day trying to heat and bend a the drops to match..and hoping it fits...and hope that the bar doesn't collapse or that you ruin the head lite bar and have to get another one.. then spend another day buffing it ....

so opted for the ordering one on line shipped to my door for 130 bucks..did have to cut the center and rotate it to clear the grille... then 2 little welds and done... also had to fab the horn bracket to be able to keep it on the lite bar..

never did find pete... but was pretty sure he would not suppy the bar and do the mod for 130 bucks shipped to my door.... and no I did not have to read a car mag to figure this out...

so the pete you are talking about is p wood from blairs that raced division 7 when I race our A fuel dragster "keno bandit... he had a long chassis full body digger "Samari " and i think he went to altered when we raced the aa/bad class... I allways loved the yellow dragster he had so I painted my "las vegas street rod " digger the same color yellow... it was a hanna body car....I heard ... P wood doesn't post here any more because of in crowd that knows more than anybody...and run their mouth too much... but I hear that constant from the south coast race and hot rod guys... p wood did the chassis on my 32... he was the pioneer of urathane bushings from corvette...

My late friend built a fixture to hold the spread and angles at the fenders. Put it in his press and here it is. IMG_5074.JPG IMG_5079.JPG IMG_5080.JPG

Pete Chapouris and Jake Jacobs started Pete & Jake’s. Pete Eastwood was their friend and I believe employee. He has a tremendous amount of fabrication talent, and has worked on many famous cars.

Since you were a big time street rod shop owner, I’m surprised you don’t know who these folks are. Even after you claimed that Eastwood built the chassis for a car of yours. Oh well.
