What do you HAMBers think a 34 Ford restored old stock car is worth. It’s a 34 5W coupe powered by a 8BA.

I would say a range of $3,000 to $40,000 depending on details.

Not so funny; I've seen some I wouldn't buy at any price and some I couldn't buy at any price. As has been said before : "This post is worthless without pictures". On this particular subject, probably doubly so.

It goes right with "how long is a piece of string?". The simple details can hold the answer, no details provide no answer.

Also depends upon if it was restored to the condition it was in BEFORE it started racing or AFTER it got all bent up and trashed.

    Are you buying or selling?

  10. Restoring race cars is all about their provenance, If you can find a reference in a book, magazine or track flyer where the vehicle or famous driver won or placed with it, it willl be worth oddles more than a back marker or a wanna-be.
Putting bondo on a hand formed aluminum indy car body from the 40's is NOT restoring a race car (inside joke).
There were thousands of dirt cars that were put together with a shoe string and gum that ran on tracks that were in a farmers south 40 field. As 56don ^ 2X, how was it restored and can it be do***ented........Yes, there are a few million dollar race cars.......66, 61, blackhawk, bluebird, 13......
