Hello all this is my first post,

I looking for info on a 34 ford I want to upgrade the brakes to juice style and needed to get some information

The car is all orginal as of now with a flattie I plan on swapping in a stock sbc 305 and a t5 or a 350 trans

I have a set of 54 f100 self energising brakes for the front

and 48 non energising brakes for the rear

will I be able to use these diffrent type of brakes together?

also I'm planning to go to open drive I plan to use the stock radius rods split then and use a torque arm.

I was also thinking anout making my own radius rods.

    Any suggestions

  2. Be sure you are not planning to run original wire wheels (or Kelseys) as they do not work well with the later truck brakes. You didn't ask, but I would keep the flattie and contact Richard Lacy at earlyv8@aol.com, (626) 338-2282 about a master cylinder mount.
