34 ford truck frame

    is a 34 ford truck frame the same as a car that year or are they like a model a frame its been a whille since i seen one i thought it was flat like an a.

    The only difference between a '33-'34 Ford passenger car frame and a half-ton truck frame is a few fender holes. The '33 and '34 frames are the same, but they are radically different than the Model "A" ('28-'31) frames! The '32 frame was a one year only design, and is much different than both the Model "A" and the '33-'34.

    (I build them all). :)

    i know about the car frames but i thought the truck was different for some reason

    if a 34 truck fram e is the same as the car of same year and if not are they like an A, i thought maybe the trucks didnt use the newer tecnoligy as can be the case with many makes and models

    A guy had one yesterday at Long Beach, I thought it was a '34 passenger until I saw the truck cab he was selling sitting next to it. They look the same to me.

    Just depends on what sort of truck. The heavy trucks, 1.5 ton etc had a really heavy duty chassis. I cant even pick the rear 1/2 of mine up.
