Is there a transmission swap for a '34 sedan, that allows you to retain the stock floor without having to install a hump? It would be going behind a 265 V8. Traditional look is an absolute.

T5 with adapters but then you need to go to an open drive rear.

I think a T5 is humpier than stock and would require some modification.

  4. Open driveline:
    3 speed - Ford 3.03 with a Jeep top
    O/D - Ford T170 RTS

    Closed driveline:
    O/D - Jeep 4x4 T5
    '39 Ford

All are going to take a little floor mods, but do it tastefully and you'll be fine.

  5. I would use a '39 Ford transmission or an earlier Ford transmission with the '39 gears.
