Hey guys- I got a chance to buy a '32 5 window and am selling my '34 Vicky project to help fund it. i don't know what I should price it for- hope maybe you can give me some direction for a starting point. Car was a tudor and has a Vicky back section ready to be welded on. Beautiful floor. Current title in my name. Parts- 2 sets of front fenders, running boards, 3 rear fenders, fiberglass rear decklid, hood tops, one hood side, 2 windshield frames, misc garnish mouldings, 33/34 front axle and wishbone, nice frame, 34 grille shell, new patch panels, new rear floor extension for vicky, extra cowl side, tudor qtr panel, extra roof panel above windshield, new rear window wood, many misc other parts. Car is in western Iowa, near Omaha, NE.
Here's a pretty cool project at $10k...gauge yours accordingly. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/1934-ford-vicky.1325176/
Thanks! I have seen that and was using it for comparison- missing- fenders or grille, garnish mouldings, dash, rusted floor, windshield frame, etc. The two cars would pair well - what is great in that car needs attention on mine, mine has many of the parts the other car needs. That car is a great start for the right person!
Fair observations- that is why I asked, as I am unsure where to price it. What kind of range would you be at then?
If youre serious about selling- I would list for 7k and drop 500. every couple of weeks till its gone. of course, this is the worst time of yr. start April 1st when people get their tax checks back..........
