'34 gets a nerf

    I couldnt wait any longer, when I built the car in my mind, it always had a traditional football style nerf bar up front. I found a guy to roll out some 3/4" OD tubing and tried to mach the layback of the grill from the side and the "V" in the grill diamond up front. And of course old mags and books for reference. Here's what I came up with:

    that looks good. Do you think it would keep the water leaking devils at bay??

    The term NERF BAR is dervived from the action of NERFING.
    NERFING or TO NERF was a expresion used by traditional circle track racers describing the action of bumping, or pushing during the course of a race.
    Hence the term NERF BAR, a bar to protect the race car during a NERF.

    Nice, very nice, I really liked that car at the hamb drags and now it is lookin even cooler, hope to see it again this yr?
