Does anyone know if the "Early Ford Store of California" is closed? Not answering phone for a week now. They are in San Dimas CA. The older gent who I****ume owned the place was very helpful and nice. Their prices are often the lowest. Would like to continue to use them.
And maybe someone can post a pic of this. I cannot find a pic or descrip of the correct bolt top mount the front fenders to the frame, very front. Some kind of a countersunk fastener. I dont see listings for them.

Are you asking about mounting the fender brace to the frame? Front and rear?

The owner passed away. His son Mike has been running it pretty much by himself since his dad passed. pretty much a one man show now. Just keep trying it's still open.

I'm asking about attaching the front sheet metal (very front of front fender has a counter sunk hole, near the sides of grill shell, slightly in front of that)

Can someone verify the length on my headlamp bar? 33-34 Ford PU. 38.75" C2C on the lower (inner) mount holes. pic below. Its pushing the fenders out beyond where the inner braces want to land. Can't seem to get the braces holes lined up with the fender holes and the light bar holes all at the same time. Braces appear perfect, un-bent. Fenders not bad. I dunno.... truck was all cobbled up when I got it.

Hey after researching I think I have a Model A truck bar? The ends of the bar dont bend like the 34 truck bars. But it sure matches the 30 A's I've looked at online. Anyone?? Extreme outside dimension is 43 1/8". And them buckets is 7.5" as measured on the stepped down lip to mount the rings. WTF are those off of lol?

That looks to be a 30-31 A or AA bar. Car, truck and big truck are all the same. 33 and 34 pickup and big truck are the same. The 33 34 bar has more curve at the ends. Truck headlights use same lenses, ring and reflector as the 33 34 car. They are 9" across or so. I can sent pics if you need more info. Steve 469-474-6189

Steve, YES! this all makes sense now. Can you send pics to dave_wnv@att.net ? I'm waiting for Pete Eastwood to reply to my inquiry. Wondering if the Model A bar can be dropped and end up with the correct length. Seems to me when you drop them your going to lose width. I need to lose 1.75" for that bar to fit.

I think Needfiber figured what headlight bar he has but fyi, here is mine on a 34. Measures 43” from most outboard edge of mounting flange. Cool33 is right in that it is slightly curved between headlight and end of bar. IMG_1811.jpeg IMG_1812.jpeg

Ok got the light bar sorted. I have the wrong one. Prolly a Model A bar. Next question, hitting the GoodGuys swap meet Saturday in Pleasanton CA. Can anyone tell me what year front bumpers fit? I'm looking for the 34 car style with the dip in the center. I've read 35/36 will fit but need bracket mods. I have brackets but don't know if they are 34 or not. No bumper to check them with. Thanks, Dave

Is the stock 34 bumper bolt hole spacing 26" C2C?

YES, 26" You can use a '33 with the correct braces (looks about the same)

I think that most make a jig, and heat and stretch them to drop them, thus the length stays the same.
But you could probably lose width if you intended to.

If have trouble locating a bar I might just give that a shot. The bar I have has a nice arch to it, more attractive than the OE bar. The ends line up with the fender angle and hole spacing. I'll post if I bend er up!

Hey Tim, I did shoot you a message. Would you happen to have a 33/34 headlight bar? And I might try mounting one of my straight bumpers on the rear. I suppose peeps start with stock brackets and go from there?
