Hello all. I have just obtained a 34 plymouth coupe (Body only) on a 33 ford frame. Yep time for a rat rod. We have compiled everything from left over and stuff laying around except for a deck lid, tailights, zoomies (for a 6 cyl) and a grill shell. does anyone have any suggestions for a deck lid ??? Ive looked for fiberglass but that would be odd considering that my awesome Rust look seems to be my color / finish of choice here. just by scrounging in the garage we managed to pull up a complete 9 " with 4 link, coil overs and disc brakes from a late model dirt car, fuel cell, aluminum radiator that were going to have the filler neck relocated, 40 chevy headlights, 48 ford straight axle, tires, wheels brakes, pedals, either a 300 six with a c6 or a dodge slant 6 with a 727 both with 4bbl and cam kits in them. so here is my start this is only 2 days into the car.. I appreciate the help and will post pics soon as I figure out how. Thanks again.
don't build a rat rod out of it, they suck. take some time and build a nice traditional hot rod. thats what the hamb is about
DON'T RATROD IT! build it as a traditional rod. I've got a decklid if you want to pay market price;PM me.
